Community Empowerment

A Cousin’s Wish is more than just an organization — it’s a movement built on family, love, and service. Founded by cousins Asia Morgan and Chavia Savage, the name was born from a heartfelt conversation after leaving a local shelter. The two shared their visions, frustrations, and hopes for the community they both love, realizing that what they wanted wasn’t just a temporary fix — it was a lasting impact rooted in unity, support, and care.

They wanted a name that was catchy, but also personal something that reflected both their bond as cousins and their shared desire to uplift others. That’s how A Cousin’s Wish came to life — a name that honors family and reflects their heartfelt promise to serve. What started as a simple idea has grown into a grassroots initiative powered by volunteers, supporters, and everyday people committed to change.

From hosting community cookouts and providing meals at shelters to organizing holiday drives and mental health initiatives, everything we do is rooted in love and purpose. We’re here to break barriers, build connection, and remind people that they’re not alone. Whether it’s through acts of service, advocacy, or simply showing up — we’re committed to giving back to the same community that helped shape us. A Cousin’s Wish is a promise between two cousins and a growing legacy of hope, healing, and heart.
